Meet the Head of Inclusion at your school
Each of our schools has a qualified,  experienced and passionate Head of Inclusion. These heads work together across the group to share practice and resources and tailor provision for their individual school and their individual student's needs. Our Community of Practice come together on the second Tuesday of every month where we appraise provision, support and progress leading to insightful and diverse understanding of needs and improved outcomes for our students.

Athena Group Head of Inclusion
Catherine is the Group Head of Inclusion across all Athena schools. Catherine has been leading inclusion internationally from Ireland to Australia, spending 8 years in the UAE. She is regularly published in educational magazines and is a director on the Dubai Inclusion Network. Catherine is passionate about removing barriers to learning to ensure that every child can reach their full potential in an inclusive, caring environment.

Head of Inclusion Oaktree Primary School
I am an adaptable, energetic and dedicated SEND leader trained in the UK with experience in International Schools as a learning support teacher, classroom teacher, EAL teacher, dyslexia specialist and Key Stage SENDCo. I am a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong academic background. I enjoy working with children of all cultures and ability levels and I always strive to create a stimulating environment for learning.
Head of Inclusion Al Sadiq
A special educator who works toward a completely inclusive society. I am registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India and have worked as a counsellor and remedial teacher in India, Holland and the UAE and am passionate about fulfilling the Inclusive Education Framework guidelines. I have worked in education as well as educational research, educational content writing and assisted in curriculum design with the NSDC government.

A widely experienced SEND professional with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education Erum has lead inclusion departments across Pakistan and the UAE. Erum excels in strategic planning and skills development to meet the diverse needs of her students. Her passion for learning and support in infectious and she is skilled in screening and assessing students to achieve accurate targeted support.

truly believe that early screening of a child’s skills is
crucial to understanding the way a student thinks and how they learn best. It has enabled me to personalize teaching and learning effectively in any educational setting. This includes all dimensions of the student’s well-being: i.e. intellectual development, emotions, social skills, spiritual beliefs and participation in the community."
Incusion Lead (High School) Armeican International School
Salma is an experienced and energetic Inclusion Specialist registered with the British Psychological Society in Educational Testing. She values the importance of communication with parents, faculty members and students to achieve progress and generate effective IEPs. Salma has cross industry experience which informs her practice in providing wholistic support to the students in her care.
A versatile,Passionate and dedicated educator with a strong focus on addressing Individual educational needs of Students with Special Education through teaching and counselling students and training teachers. Jikku is well know and well loved in the UAE and contributes to Inclusion in multiple spheres. A kind hearted and empathetic professional, flexible and accommodating in the design and implementation of Hands-on-Lessons and Individual Education Plans to enhance student achievement. Excellent skills in Counselling and in Behavioural Management Techniques.

I am a professional licensed Indian psychologist and educational leader registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. I have worked with more than 7000 children with disabilities including autism, intellectual disability and ADHD. My objective is to continuously enhance my skills based on psychological interventions with latest techniques and deliver best support to my students through quality interventions.

Fatima is a highly experienced inclusion specialist with various higher diplomas in Special needs from Dyslexia to addiction. She is a motivated and passionate leader who promotes a team approach to inclusion and targets students individual needs with care and detailed support.

Nora is a motivated Special Education Leader committed to providing a supportive environment for children with special needs. A holder of a Masters degree in special and inclusive education from the British University in Dubai she is dedicated to creating a classroom environment that encourages social and emotional growth through the implementation of effective learning programs. Specialised in providing personalized attention in a safe supportive setting with a child-centric approach.
